JOB SUMMARY

 

The incumbent will provide dedicated support to the Manager – Strategic Management, Research & Analysis (Manager – SMRA) in the execution of the Group’s Strategic Planning Cycle.  This role is designed to strengthen the coordination, analysis and documentation required throughout the planning process, in accordance with the Group’s Strategic Framework (SMF). He/ She will play a key supporting role in stakeholder engagement, engagement, preparation of strategic materials, and the administration of key planning tools such as the Balanced Scorecard (BSC).

 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Provides day-to-day support in administering and executing the Group’s Strategic Planning exercise, which commenced FY 2024/2025 and will continue in September 2026, in alignment with the Group’s SMF
  • Liaises with Stakeholders across all levels of the Group to gather, synthesize, and analyze strategic information; draft supporting communications, reports, and briefing materials as required
  • Coordinates logistics for strategy related sessions and workshops, including scheduling, documentation and follow-up actions
  • Prepares draft materials for review by the Manager – SMRA and the Strategy Planning Committee, inclusive of presentations, summary reports, and data visualizations
  • Assists with the communication, rollout and ongoing administration of the SMF, including recalibration efforts where applicable
  • Supports the development and alignment of the FC Group Balanced Scorecard (BSC) including:
    • Cascading of Strategic Objectives from Group level to Units and Subsidiaries
    • Recalibration of the Group’s BSC Framework, as opportunities arise during the planning cycle
    • Alignment of 35 Unit and Subsidiary BSCs with the New Strategic Plan (2026/2027)
  • Assists with the Group’s Annual BSC Ratification Process for FY 2025/2026, including preparation of supporting materials and coordination with stakeholders
  • Engages in marketing of the Group’s products and services
  • Responds to customers’ requests, enquiries, incoming and outgoing calls, both local and foreign, in a courteous and timely manner consistent with operating standards and escalation to the Supervisor/Manager where necessary
  • Completes special projects and other related activities as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

 

  • Candidates must possess a Degree in Business Management, Finance, Economics, Natural Sciences, Information Systems Management, or equivalent qualification in a related field from an accredited institution
  • Candidates must also possess a minimum of two (2) years of experience in a similar role or other relevant technical or analytical role
  • High Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft clear and professional documents inclusive of strong presentation design skills using PowerPoint or other visualization tools
  • Possess strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to synthesize and interpret complex data
  • Strong time management, organization and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to use initiative, work independently, and exercise sound judgement
  • Ability to read, analyze, interpret, and use complex documents and reports
  • Professional deportment and strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to work collaboratively across teams
  • Familiarity with performance measurement frameworks, including KPIs and Metrics will be an asset
