Applicants are hereby invited to apply for the position of Receptionist (Non-Management Grade 2), First Citizens Investment Services Limited - St. Lucia for the period ending November 2026.

JOB SUMMARY

 

The incumbent will be responsible for providing telephone and guest reception services as well as ancillary support to First Citizens Investment Services (FCIS).

 

 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Handles incoming and outgoing calls for the Company in a courteous and timely manner as well as records and delivers all messages promptly
  • Handles requests for information such as telephone numbers, departments, etc. and directs customers to appropriate staff for assistance with other enquiries
  • Provides callers with information on the products and services of the Company in order to access clients’ needs before directing them to the appropriate Officer
  • Records and distributes daily all incoming documents including arranging of outgoing mail on behalf of the Company for dispatch by relevant parties
  • Ensures the conference room facilities as well as the general reception and front office area are properly maintained such as adequate stock, cleanliness of area by conducting the relevant checks daily and replenishing where necessary
  • Photocopies and scans documents as well as transmits and retrieves messages via facsimile, email
  • Maintains an effective and efficient customer database for all walk-in clients in order to monitor their wait-time in accordance with the company’s standards
  • Files correspondence, reports and other documents and ensures that the filing system is properly secured and maintained
  • Generates a report daily on all Private Client Services (PCS) transactions processed on the operating software system
  • Provides clerical support such as assisting with the preparation and execution of company events as required as well as assisting with the typing of correspondence where necessary including collating and circulating of related correspondence
  • Records Customer Feedback information monthly on a database and generates a related report for distribution to team members
  • Maintains an adequate and up-to-date stock of brochures/magazines for all products and services in designated display areas
  • Greets and screens walk in customers in a courteous and timely manner, enquires into the purpose of their visit and informs relevant staff for attention
  • Receives stamps and ensures that they are stored in a secured manner
  • Packages investor letters for mailing daily as well as other items as required
  • Generates a report monthly on all incoming and outgoing calls for submission to the Manager
  • Maintains a spreadsheet on clients birthday information by updating as necessary and distributing the respective cards in a timely manner
  • Extracts company and other related newspaper/print articles and stores accordingly
  • Processes transfers from bank accounts to clients accounts for approval
  • Engages in marketing of the Group’s products and services
  • Responds to customers’ requests, enquiries, incoming and outgoing calls, both local and foreign, in a courteous and timely manner consistent with operating standards and escalation to the Supervisor/Manager where necessary
  • Completes special projects and other related activities as assigned by the Supervisor/Manager

 

 

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

 

  • Candidates must possess five (5) GCE O’Levels Grades A, B and C or CXC O’Levels (General Proficiency) Grades I, II or III of which Mathematics and English Language must be at Grades I or II. Not more than two (2) of the other subjects should be at a grade III level
  • A minimum of one (1) year experience in a related field
  • Good interpersonal, teamwork, time management, oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to use initiative, work independently and exercise good judgment
  • Professional deportment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite especially excel
  • Knowledge of the Group’s Operating Software Systems, Products and Services

  • This position is located in St. Lucia
  • If successful, non-nationals will have to bear the cost of relocation and obtain a CSME Skills Certificate
